I was born and
raised on a dairy farm in northern Utah.
I moved to Wyoming with my employment with the Union Pacific Railroad in
1967. For the past 16 years my
family and I have lived on a farm west of Wheatland. I love farming and I enjoy the outdoors
including fishing, hunting, and exploring Wyoming's wilderness areas on
horseback.
I have represented
the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers and Trainmen regarding employee issues
for the past 15 years at the Wyoming State Legislature. This has given me a sound background in
the political process.
When I retire in
September I will represent the citizens of House District #3 on a full time
basis. I can effectively represent
the citizens of House District #3 because of my background in small business,
agriculture and as a wage earner. I
have approached my life with honesty, integrity, tenacity and hard work, and I
will continue to do so in the legislature.
